Architect: no lock-in
Change the model, the tools, the products. Even us. How Architect keeps every layer swappable.
Every other agentic platform asks you to trade data sovereignty, or accept vendor lock-in, in return for the tooling. Architect is the Adam AI module that makes that trade unnecessary.
Change the model, the tools, the products. Even us. The only lock-in is the growth.
What Architect does
Architect holds the map of your Adam AI estate: which models serve which agents, which skills are in use, which connectors reach which systems, which Markings bound which data. Because every one of those is a layer boundary rather than a hard-coded dependency, Architect can swap any of them without the others noticing.
| You want to | Architect does |
|---|---|
| Move from one model to another | Repoints the gateway route. Agents and skills are unchanged. Evals re-run automatically. |
| Replace a SaaS product you integrate with | Swaps the connector in the Integration layer. Skills that used it are re-bound. |
| Take a workload from hosted to local hardware | Changes where the model runs. Nothing else moves. |
| Leave Adam AI | Exports your data, your skills, your builds and your audit as open formats. Nothing is held hostage. |
Why it matters
Three of the seven most common pain points we hear are about having chosen a path and then being stuck on it: a SaaS AI built on a model generation that already feels dated; a full commitment to one cloud's roadmap; a car built on someone else's chassis that might be discontinued. Architect exists so that none of those is a one-way door.
What it is not
Architect is not an abstraction that flattens every model and tool to the lowest common feature set. Each layer keeps its native capabilities. Architect records the dependencies and manages the swap; it does not pretend the components are identical.
